The A-List

  • The Davidson

One of my favorite spots right now! You've got to try the eggplant prepared tableside. The mushroom bisque and the roasted vegetable salad are some of the best things I've eaten recently.

  • Willow Run

Willow Run opened in downtown Cincinnati on August 12th.  My daughter Katie is the GM. Stop in to see her and the team for a custom bourbon blending experience! You can create and take home your very own blend.

  • Earth Breeze

I’ve switched to laundry sheets and I’m never going back. Earth Breeze come in a paper envelope and each sheet simply dissolves in the wash, leaving my clothes smelling clean - and clean only.

  • Forest Bathing

My family and I loved our Forest Bathing experience with Pam Cho of Trek Coaching . Pam offers experiences for individual and corporate clients. Get outside, get some space and experience Shinrin-Yoku with Pam. Listen to the podcast.

  • Meyer Lemon Tree from Leaf & Limb

Leaf and Limb in Newport on the Levee made my lemon tree dreams come true!

When life hands you lemons, I suggest you make my Chicken Piccata.

  • Porthole Cocktail Infuser

For a special cocktail- and a beautiful presentation- try the Porthole Infuser.

  • Wool Dryer Balls

Way before laundry sheets, I left fabric softener sheets behind, too. My sister told me about wool dryer balls and they’re the best. I use two at a time and marvel at the lack of static electricity in my perfectly softened laundry.  They seem to last forever, making them super economical, too.

  • Peppermint OIl

I put a few drops of essential oil on dryer balls before I toss them in. Not only do my clothes, sheets and towels hold the faint scent, my home smells amazing while the laundry is in process. I’m on a peppermint oil kick right now. (Side story- my brother texted me a couple days after visiting to ask me how I got my towels to smell like peppermint. Now you know how, too)

If you’ve ever taken classes from me you know that I rarely recommend “one trick ponies” and like almost everything I use in my home to be useful in many ways, Peppermint oil is a natural bug repellent and great to add to a little soapy water to wipe down doors and baseboards to keep any creepy crawlies at bay.ion goes here
